We take a quick look at what happened with the Georgia Football team this weekend in it’s first scrimmage.

After a few weeks of practice this Saturday Georgia Football had its first scrimmage practice of fall camp. The players did not get their first live experience in the comforts of the new indoor practice facility. Instead, they played out in Sanford Stadium and there’s no doubt that the heat seemed to get to them. Kirby Smart spoke after the session and was stressing that the heat had caused some players some issues.

He didn’t make any excuses for them however. With the first game less than 20 days away, players are going to have to improve their conditioning and be ready. While UGA is lucky enough to play its first 3 games at night, the team still needs to be prepared for some hot games. In the south, those are going to happen right through October and Georgia can’t afford to have it’s players be the one’s who wilt.

Anyway, there were lots of positive observations that came from scrimmage. So lets take a look at them and see where this team is heading for the 2017 season.
