Georgia Football: 2018 recruiting class gets a huge week.

Georgia Football had it’s biggest week of the 2018 recruiting cycle so far this past week with 3 big time commitments.

The Georgia Football season might be just around the corner, but college football never really sleeps. Recruiting has become the lifeblood of every big time football program. You can have all the coaches and all the schemes in the world. The way you win the big championships is that you have the best players on the field.

UGA had itself quite the 2017 on the recruiting front. Kirby Smart’s first full year in charge led to a stellar signing class. The dawgs brought in a consensus top 3 class that included some potential stars alongside serious depth. That being said, in April and May, there was some real panic starting to spread amount fans. Georgia was sitting on only 2 commits back then but a lo has changed, very quickly.

UGA picked up commitments from some solid depth players in the early summer. Then, they received the big commitment from the nations top running back at the end of June. This week however, the class begun to round out. UGA got 3 commitments in 5 days, all from players that are in consensus top 150 players.
