4. Offense will average over 38 points per game, defense will average under 14

If Georgia accomplishes this, the team will be really special. It’s unfortunate that while Georgia had a fantastic scoring defense in the early 2000’s as well as the past two seasons, it was coupled with an offense that didn’t score a lot. And when Georgia had a great offense from 2007-to-2014, the defense was mostly mediocre.

For whatever reason, Georgia just hasn’t put a great offense and defense on the field at the same time. And you can look back on many seasons and see where that cost us championships.

But not this year, Georgia finally seems primed to have score some points while also stuffing opposing offenses. We’ve seen a lot of headlines and tweets from those who are at practice every day saying that Jim Chaney has evolved Georgia’s offense. And we already know that the defense should be elite.

The duo of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel will lead a great stable of backs. Jacob Eason will have more talent to throw to. Plus, he already has the nations most gifted tight end in Isaac Nauta. If the offense line just does their job well, the offense will score a lot. We don’t even need stellar offensive line play, just good will be sufficient.
