With football just over a week away, everyone is going out of their minds with anticipation. If you’re a big fan like me then you’re about to go insane. Here are a few tips to survive the last week without football.

Play Madden NFL 18.

Madden is the ultimate game for football fans. The latest version drops today. There is a lot of UGA talent in the NFL, enough to build a pretty good football game. Just imagine having Matthew Stafford and Todd Gurley in the same backfield. To go along with that, A.J. Greene to stretch the field. Not to mention, you’d have Geno Atkins, Thomas Davis, Justin Houston, and Reshad Jones on the same defense……SHEESH. That would be a fun team to play with.

Mayweather vs McGregor.

What a fight this is going to be! Two of the best athletes in the world going toe to toe the weekend before football starts. Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have been mouthing off for months now and hopefully Saturday will give us a little taste of big hits and excitement that football brings. Who do y’all have in this fight?

The Little League World Series.

This is always a fun tournament to watch. This is the type of baseball that you watch because you know these 11 and 12 year old kids are playing strictly for the love of the game. It’s really fun to watch the stars of tomorrow play. The Little League World Series championship is set for Sunday.

Friday Night Lights.

If you’re fortunate enough to live in Georgia like I do, there are some really good high school football teams full of future Dawgs. Look at a Friday schedule, pick a game, and make a trip. You never know what future star you may get to see live in a talent rich state like Georgia.

Gear up for Fantasy.

One of the main reasons people love fantasy football so much is that it gives them a chance to watch more football! This weekend is the 3rd week of preseason so a lot of NFL players will get a proper run-out. It’s the perfect time to join a league and build your fantasy team. More football for is always a good thing!
