Can Georgia Football fans expect to see Nick Chubb back to his best in 2017?

Yesterday, Bleacher Report put out an article about 3 of the countries best running backs. They choose three players who physically are genuinely unique talents. It focused on their daily workout regime as they prepared for the season. Georgia RB Nick Chubb was one of the players who was profiled.

It’s a great read and it focuses on how Chubb has been working hard to undo the damage that he suffered in the 2015 game against Tennessee. The injury he sustained was worse than I think a lot of people realize. He tore three ligaments in his knee and damaged the cartilage. This was not a simple ACL tear so the fact that Chubb was even able to compete the way he did in 2016 is kind of remarkable.

While there is no doubt that the player we saw in 2016 was not the same Nick Chubb pre injury, he’s been working hard to get back there. The article is a fascinating insight into just how hard Chubb is working to get back. His workouts have centered on the knee that he injured. Not only building strength but also flexibility so that he can trust it once again.

Ultimately Georgia Fans just want to see ‘the old’ Nick Chubb back for 2017. The player who looked like a certain 1st round draft pick as a freshman. The guy who was so good, the offense didn’t miss a beat when Todd Gurley got injured. So what is the chance fans can expect to see that in his senior season?
