With only 1 day to go, Georgia Football is yet to officially release its depth chart to start the 2017 season. Here’s a guess on what it could look like.

Kirby Smart seems to be playing things close to his chest. The Georgia Football coach has like several SEC coaches not released the UGA depth chart yet. He is keeping that under wraps until game day. Now for us fans, that’s a little frustrating. There are positions where we really want to see who is coming out on top. There are others where we want to see where some of these freshmen are sitting on the depth chart.

Anyway, with the App. State game just a day away, we decided to take a quick stab at what that depth chart might look like. A lot of the positions are relatively easy to figure out, but the depth behind is a bit more challenging. With such a strong freshman class coming in, a lot of them are likely going to win jobs on the 2 deep.

Some of that is really exciting. It’s always fun to see new wide receivers bring their speed and athelticism to the offense. On the other hand, it’s often quite scary to see them in the secondary where technique is so important. So here is what we think the actual depth chart will be when it’s finally released.
