After winning week 1, Georgia Football gears up for the first big game of the season against Notre Dame.

This is the game that we’ve all been waiting for! Georgia vs Notre Dame…… This brings music to my ears. So much history and prestige will meet up in South Bend Saturday. This game will have a lot on the line for both teams in this young season.

Forget week 1, the Fighting Irish need to win this game. They have a head coach who finds himself on a very hot seat after a disappointing 4-8 season last year. Georgia fans should remember that record was not due to a lack of talent. This Notre Dame team is loaded with offensive weapons and they will be a real handful to stop. More importantly, it’s at home for them and is a night game. Emotionally, this is a game that they are going to go into desperate to win.

Georgia goes in with a true freshman QB after Jacob Eason went down last week. We have no idea what kind of offense they are going to run this Saturday. What we do know is that they will lean on what could be one of the nations best defenses. If that rises to its talent level, this could be a slugfest for the ages.

Georgia is coming off of a decent 31-10 victory over App State. There were some glimpses of hope for the Dawgs in that game, but also a few concerns including the loss of quarterback Jacob Eason. The Fighting Irish beat Temple 49-16 with an impressive run game. They would love to control the line of scrimmage the same way Saturday. Let’s dive into the breakdown.
