What Notre Dame must do to win.

Last week The Irish ran for a pretty amazing 422 yards including 100+ yard performances by two running backs, Dexter Williams and Josh Adams, and a 106 yard rushing day for quarterback Brandon Wimbush. Not to mention the junior quarterback was efficient throwing as well as he was 17 of 30 with 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. If Notre Dame can keep it balanced, and keep the Dawgs guessing, they’ll have a great chance to knock off Georgia.

One of the most interesting areas of this game will be when the ND offensive line battles against the UGA defensive line. That is a strength vs strength battle. Georgia has several players there who will end up playing on Sundays. The same can be said for Notre Dame and their O-Line. If ND can win that battle, and negate the UGA pass rush, then they have a great chance to win.

If they can also move around the Georgia front-7 enough that they can run the ball over UGA, then the game could likely get out of hand. Georgia does not have the talent on the offensive side of the ball to score too many points. Especially with a freshman QB. If Notre Dame can blow through UGA quickly and get up by 14 or more, the game will likely be over.
