Who wins the game?

This is a toss up. Georgia heads into the game as 6.5 point underdogs. This is understandable as you’re going there with a true freshman back up. South Bend at night is a very intimidating atmosphere. This is going to be a unique environment that even the seniors are unlikely to have played in before.

If Eason was healthy, there is still a good chance that Georgia would be underdogs. Notre Dame is a hot team after their victory over Temple and a lot of people are excited by the QB. That being said, Georgia’s strength is their defense and so Brandon Wimbush is going to have to play a lot better than he did vs Temple. This defense will punish him otherwise.

On the other side of the ball, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are the key players for UGA. They showed last week that when they get the ball, they can make things happen. The offensive line is really important here, but if it can play ok, these two backs have the ability to win this game. If they can make Jake Fromm’s life easier, then Georgia has a great chance.

Next: What offense could we see vs ND?

Ultimately, I have to go with UGA. I believe they have a little more talent and will find a way to sneak by. I think the Dawgs will walk out of South Bend with a 28-24 win.
