Georgia football: Bulldogs who need to improve after week two
Julian Rochester
How can a Georgia defensive lineman be on this list? That unit played a near perfect game and totally dominated Notre Dame’s offensive line.

But it was not a perfect night and Rochester is a big reason why. He cost Georgia 30 yards with two hands to the face penalties. Georgia had issues with facemasks calls all night, but some of those are excusable. Hands to the face of opposing linemen on plays that were otherwise great for the Bulldog defense are not excusable however.
We are fortunate that Rochester’s two penalties did not cost the Dawgs too much. The front seven was still very overwhelming, the penalties did not bother the group that much. And Rochester played a great game outside of his two errors.
Those are just errors that need to be addressed and cleaned up in practice this week. He does not need to make a habit out that. The coaches will work will with him to keep his hands down, it never looked like he tried to gain an unfair advantage, he just had his hands up too high.
