Georgia football only played 11 games in the Georgia Dome’s 24-year history. In those 11 games, Georgia is 5-6.

Our old friend the Georgia Dome is set to be torn down soon. And as  a Georgia fan I say, I wish we knew you better. Seriously, you’d think based on proximity that Georgia football would have appeared in many games in the Georgia Dome.

However, the Bulldogs only played 11 games in the dome and had a losing record in those games. Several teams have played more games in the Georgia Dome that Georgia. Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and LSU have played 12 games in the dome. But Alabama played a whopping 15 games there. The Georgia Dome was practically their second home.

That’s not to say that Georgia never had any memorable games in the Georgia Dome. On the contrary, the Bulldogs gave Georgia Dome crowds some of the most exciting games in the venues history.

But we’re not going to talk about most of those here. Instead, we’re going to rank the bottom six games that the Dawgs played in the dome. These aren’t all terrible games for Georgia fans, two of them are pretty pleasant games actually.

The rest of the list, the five best Georgia games played in the Georgia Dome, will be released later this week. But for now, here’s number’s 11 through six.
