Georgia football: Ranking the bulldogs games in the Georgia Dome; 11 through 6
8. 2011 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game vs. Boise State
First things first? What’s your thought on the uniforms Georgia wore in this game? Personally, I don’t mind them although I was disappointed with their reveal. But I think more people would think favorably of them if Georgia had won.

Talking about those uniforms was more fun than how talking about this game will be. As fans, we didn’t know what to expect from this game. We watched Georgia go 6-7 in 2010 while the Broncos finished 12-1.
But this game was in Atlanta, it was basically a home game for Georgia. And the team was bound to be much better with an experienced quarterback, and Isaiah Crowell emerging in the backfield. And while Georgia certainly proved to be a much improved team as the year went on, they were not on this night.
Brandon Boykin electrified the crowd early with an 80-yard touchdown run. But that was all Georgia could do offensively until the third quarter. By the time Aaron Murray and Orson Charles hooked up for a 36-yard touchdown pass late in the third quarter, Boise State already had a 28-7 lead. The Broncos went on to beat Georgia 35-21 in the Bulldogs first Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
