Georgia Tech is about what you expect

The Yellow jackets bounced back from a heartbreaker against Tennessee with a 37-10 win over Jacksonville State. Georgia tech didn’t show us anything new against the Gamecocks. They struggled a bit in the first half, although that could have been caused by the letdown and short break from their loss to the Volunteers.

But they ran away with the game in the third quarter to turn the meeting into a blowout. Everyone for Tech looked like they were supposed to in the win. The defense looked better though. They couldn’t stop Tennessee in the second half, but they shut down Jacksonville State.

Next: Freshman to watch out for Saturday

It might have been against weaker competition, but at least they showed that they can play defense. That’s more than they showed us in week one. Jury is still out on them though. We’ll have to wait on them to play better teams to consider them a contender for the ACC Championship or not.
