Vanderbilt is the best team in the state of Tennessee

Is Vanderbilt the second best team in the SEC East? It’s beginning to look that way. They’re coming off a 14-7 win over then no. 18 Kansas State. The Commodores only allowed 277 yards and intercepted two passes. Vandy’s offense did not look good however, but they were good enough to win.

But we’ll really found out what the Commodores are made of this week as they host no. 1 Alabama. These are two of the best defenses in the SEC so don’t be surprised to see a low scoring battle between these two. The Crimson Tide should win, but Vandy will put up a fight.

Compared to Tennessee, Vanderbilt is a superior football team. Where the Tennessee is unorganized and doesn’t seem to play well together, the Commodores are a unit. This is most reflected in their head coaches. Players want to play for Derek Mason.

Living in Missouri

Poor Missouri fans. It’s bad enough that your state sounds like misery, but now your football team is in misery as well. A defense that just a couple of years ago was a string unit that kept y’all in games and won SEC East Championships, is now one of the worst in college football.

And Drew Lock, poor guy just can’t get any help. It’s bad enough that he doesn’t have a good defense to keep opponents from scoring, but there’s no one around him to generate points. This is going to be a long year for the Tigers. Yet, I’d still have them as seven-point favorites against Tennessee.
