Georgia football: Top performers from the Bulldogs win over Mississippi State
Jake Fromm
Let’s be honest, did anyone think Fromm would play this well so far? Yeah, he only threw 12 passes Saturday and has only thrown more than 20 passes in a game once. But He began the game against Mississippi State with eight straight completions.
He just looks so poised and has a solid connection with his receivers. Seven different Bulldogs caught a pass from Fromm and two of them caught touchdowns. His play-fakes were greats, every pass was right where it needed to be, and he no longer seems to be eyeing receivers.
Next: The question was answered saturday
All of the sudden, it no longer looks like Jacob Eason will take back the starting job when he returns from injury. Being a solid passer himself, I can’t see Eason riding the bench all game. But Fromm will continue to start and play the most of every game unless Eason can prove himself to be the better passer. Right now though, this is Jake Fromm’s offense.
