Auburn dominates Missouri

Jarrett Stidhman and the Auburn Tigers finally played like the team everyone said they were in the preseason. Except it was against one of the worst defenses in America. So this might be a case of their opponent being terrible more so than them showing actual improvement.

In fact is probably is. The Tigers play Mississippi State this week in a very intriguing match-up. The Bulldogs offense led by Nick Fitzgerald will be the Tigers defense biggest test of the season. And while Mississippi State’s defense isn’t great, they’re still much better than Missouri’s.

If the Tigers can score points this week, then we can talk about Stidham maybe being the quarterback that Auburn needs and has needed for a few years. If not, it’ll be obvious that this is just another over-hyped Auburn team.
