Georgia Football already had two great running backs in Sony Michel and Nick Chubb. The emergence of D’Andre Swift, however, has UGA fans thinking big.

Georgia Football fans often like to think of UGA being RBU. Afterall, this is the school that Hershel built. It’s the school where the likes of Garrison Hearst and Terrell Davis played together. More recently, we’ve seen the likes of Knowshon Moreno and Todd Gurley light up college football and the NFL.

Fans have been spoiled over the past three years. Nick Chubb and Sony Michel might just be the best 1-2 punch UGA fans have ever had. Their skillsets fit so perfectly together and they have both played just enough to give the other a chance to get a breather. There’s a great chance that when it’s all said and done, both of them will be in the top 5 rushers at UGA in terms of yardage all time. That’s even though we live in an age when people throw the ball around more than ever.

Their presence was one of the reasons so many Georgia fans were excited about this season. Their return for their senior seasons was as enthralling as it was unexpected. However, what nobody was expecting was that another running back would end up taking time away from these two players. Then again, nobody was expecting the emergence of D’Andre Swift.
