Just how good can this Monster be?

Good. Really really good! As excited as I was to see Michel and Chubb back this year, Swift brings a new dimension to this running game. His ability to run inside and out as well as play in the slot is giving Jim Chaney the ability to do all sorts of different things in the running game.

Last week, with Michel still somewhat limited with an ankle injury, we saw more from Swift than expected. We also saw both he and Nick Chubb on the field at the same time. In that set, Chubb strung a big block that helped Swift make a 10 yard gain and based off what we have heard from Kirby Smart, we have to believe that Swift might be throwing those blocks in the future.

What’s so exciting about this is that having 3 players like this gives the dawgs plenty of chance to keep all of them fresh. Not only can they use a bunch of different looks, knowing that all of them can do everything an RB needs to do, but they can continue to do exotic things like have 2 on the field at once.

While UGA tries to figure out whats going on at QB, they can rest assured that their ground game is going to be good. Against Mississippi State we saw the offensive line play better than it had in a while. If it can open any holes for these 3 backs, they have the skill to take a game away from an opponent. All of them can grind out long drives but are also real threats to break a tackle and score from anywhere.
