This Georgia Football team will have one of it’s captains back this week after Tennessee fans mocked Nick Chubb’s 2015 injury.

I’m sure by this point, most Georgia Football fans have seen them. You know what I mean. The pictures that have been put all over social media and the internet the past few days. I’m talking about the ones where a fraternity in Knoxville mocked Nick Chubb’s knee injury in 2015.

Now I know that a all fan bases have their knuckleheads. The dawgs also have several within our ranks. One thing I never expected to see however was people belittling a player like Chubb after a truly horrific injury. Anybody who watches SEC football will remember that as a heartbreaking moment. This was a player who had lit up college football for a year and a half experiencing a devastating injury. To make matters worse, (and yes I might have dawg tinted glasses) but the injury was caused by the Vols terrible playing field.

Now I’ve gone on the record a few times regarding Chubb. He’s one of my favorite UGA players of all time. The guy is a great player and an even better person and leader. He’s been a terrific ambassador for Georgia since the day he signed. Its pretty sickening to see Vols fans mocking him for something that could have ended his career.

That being said, I’m pretty sure that Vol’s fans will end up eating their words tomorrow. Georgia didn’t exactly need a great deal of motivation for this game after the 2016 ‘Hail Mary’. Mocking one of their leaders for a horrific knee injury seems like a pretty good way to ensure they play angry.

Next: UGA vs Vols breakdown.

Anyone who has watched UGA this season can comfortably tell Tennessee fans one thing. You won’t like this team when it’s angry…
