Georgia Football takes on Vanderbilt tomorrow in what should be another revenge game for the Dawgs.

Revenge part two. Last season Georgia Football lost to Vanderbilt 17-16 after the most bazaar play call I’ve seen. A toss sweep to Isaiah McKenzie on 4th and 1……. let’s just say I was not a happy dawg after that game. But this revenge thing has been fun so far this year and it feels different in Athens. Let’s dive into this breakdown.

What Vanderbilt must do to win.

First thing first is they have to get in the end zone. Georgia has not allowed a touchdown in SEC play. Vandy has got to find a way to move the ball consistently. Vanderbilt probably has the best passing attack Georgia has faced up until this point and they must the advantage of a very aggressive UGA defense.

What Georgia must do to win.

Just do you what you’ve been doing; Play defense, run the ball, and control the clock. Also, stick with Fromm. A lot of people have been saying that Georgia is lacking a passing game. But is that really true? Georgia smacked 2 SEC teams the past 2 weeks with ease and has really gone bland after the half. So have we really had a chance to see Fromm throw? So why try to fix what’s not broken? Anyway if Georgia feeds Chubb, Michel, and Swift, they should win.

X-Factors

Kyle Shurmer, the Vanderbilt quarterback, is probably the best pure pocket passer Georgia is gonna face at this point in the season. He has a great arm and has been really efficient throwing 11 touchdowns and 1 interception. He’s going to have to be sharp if he wants to lead Vanderbilt to a huge upset.

For Georgia, D’Andre Swift is my x-factor. Swift may be the most underrated player in the nation. Call me crazy, but he might be the best running back at UGA right now. He takes a lot of pressure off of Chubb and Michel and does everything well.

Who wins?

On paper, it looks like Georgia should roll, but don’t forget that this Vanderbilt team has already knocked off a ranked Kansas State team. I believe Vanderbilt can be better than they showed against Alabama and Florida, but not against Georgia. My prediction is Georgia 37-Vanderbilt 6.
