Auburn continues to dominate inferior foes

The Tigers were the latest team to smack around Ole Miss. Auburn won the game 44-23 but they let the Rebels score 13 points on the backups.

What else is there to say about Auburn? They rolled again. Jarrett Stidham was efficient. Kerryon Johnson rushed for over 200 yards while five other players combined for 122 yards. Their defense did allow 429 yards of total offense, including 346 passing yards by Shae Patterson.

Right now, Auburn’s offense looks slightly better than Georgia’s, while Georgia’s defense looks slightly better than Auburn’s. And that makes the eventual meeting between the two teams that much more appealing.

anything can change between now and then, but the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry appears to be the best game of November 11th this year.
