Georgia Football should continue to run the rock against Missouri

So it’s probably safe to say that right now, Mizzou are bad on defense. They are giving up 40 points a game, 40 POINTS !! That means that they are 122nd in the entire country on defense. That’s 122nd out of 130 teams. Yeah, these guys are bad on defense.

The fact that their rush defense is slightly better than their passing shouldn’t really factor into UGA’s game plan. This is not a team that is a great deal weaker in one area than another. It is equally bad at playing the rush and the pass.

They have allowed every team other than Missouri State to run all over them this year. Even in that game, they allowed a 100-yard rusher. They seem to have no idea how to stop semi-decent running games like Purdue’s. I just don’t see how these guys can stop an offense that rushed for over 400 yards last week.

While I get the desire to air it out a bit, especially against a bad secondary, sometimes it’s just better to do what works. Missouri can’t defend, anybody. Georgia’s strength is it’s running backs so let’s just keep feeding them the ball. Think of the field day Nick and Sony could have against these guys. Speaking of which…
