Seniors having special seasons:

Georgia fans have been blessed when it comes to running backs. We can boast the G.O.A.T. alongside countless others who have helped make this RBU. That being said, we should probably all take a moment to sit back and think about our two seniors right now. What they have done so far should make any Dawg fan very happy. We are watching something very special from both of them right now.

Nick Chubb is leading the SEC in rushing with 618 yards and Michel is not too far behind him with 406. They are both averaging just under 7 yards a carry as well so they are being incredibly efficient. While neither of them is averaging more than 15 carries a game, they are both making a big impact.

Having two senior leaders who are this good is pretty rare, especially at the same position. The fact that they are so close and they rotate so effectively is part of the culture of this team. Their selfless play is a great example to everyone else as to why they need to buy in.

We’re less than halfway through the season but I expect more of the same from both of these guys. I genuinely expect both to go over 1,000 yards this season and they both deserve it. Until opponents have shown that they can stop these guys, I don’t see why we should stop running them.
