Georgia Football will be looking to get healthy during its bye week.

After another great weekend for Georgia Football fans, we now have to take a break. This week will be UGA’s bye and fans are no doubt chomping at the bit for the Florida game in 2 weeks. That being said, the timing of this bye really couldn’t be any better for UGA. The team has experienced several injuries over the past couple of weeks. They could really use some time to get several key players back and healthy.

So far, UGA has been relatively lucky when it comes to major injuries (touch wood). None of their significant players have had serious injuries and that has helped them have a really solid season. Their depth has not been too badly tested and it has meant that the Dawgs have been able to look like a dominant team this year.

After Georgia lost Jacob Eason in the first game, that initially did not feel like the case. But Jake Fromm has stepped in and played very well. Eason is also believed to be healthy now so UGA has depth once again at the games most important position. While fans are arguing over who should start, the coaches are likely feeling good that should the worse happen to Fromm, they have good cover.

While the Dawgs are well set at QB, there are other positions that are banged up. The defence, in particular, has wanned a bit the past few weeks. There have been several key injuries however on that side of the ball. If UGA can get most of these players back, however, they should go into the Florida game close to full strength.
