Georgia football: If not Alabama, who should the Bulldogs want?

No. 5 Wisconsin

I’m sure there are some Wisconsin fans out there wishing their Badgers could get some revenge over the Bulldogs. Barry Alvarez, the man who made Wisconsin football relevant, only lost three bowl games in his time as head coach (not counting his one-off games), and two of those losses came to Georgia.

Hines Ward, Mike Bobo and Champ Bailey whipped the Badgers 33-6 in the 1998 Outback Bowl. David Greene and Pollack defeated them in the 2005 Outback Bowl. So they have a reason to want us. But the reason why we should want Wisconsin is because they’re another top 5 team.

No. 6 Ohio State

Of course I want Ohio State. If you recall my list of teams I want Georgia to play from several months ago, Ohio State took the third spot. I even wrote out the name of their school as

The

Ohio State University. The strike-though as a joke about how seriously they take that “the” in their name.

But honestly, want Ohio State because of Urban Meyer. We lead the series over them because of the 1993 Citrus Bowl. The Bulldogs only got one win over Meyer when he was at Florida. So I want to beat the Buckeyes a few more times to get a few wins over Meyer.

The Buckeyes aren’t even a top five team, so Georgia fans can’t look too cocky calling them out right?
