Georgia Football might be on a bye this weekend, but it had another great week off the field as the Dawgs keep on winning in 2017.

It’s been a great season so far for Georgia Football fans. Even though this week, us fans don’t get to watch a Dawg game, there has still been plenty to cheer for. Georgia won another big recruiting battle this week. The beat our Alabama for Adam Anderson, a very talented pass rusher.

Those of us with ESPN also had to joy of watching UGA commit Justin Fields play on Thursday. While he ended up breaking a finger in the 3rd quarter, it was quite a performance. Dawg fans have a lot to look forward to when he gets to Athens.

The Dawgs have had a full week to get healthy and also clean up some sloppy play. They should be in a good place when it comes to the game against Florida next week. Lastly, the Dawgs benefitted from watching Tennessee implode on national TV. Watching one of your biggest rivals play one of the most shocking games of football against Alabama is actually pretty amusing.

Right now, UGA in is a great spot if they can win in the Worlds Largest Cocktail Party. The Dawgs are one of a few teams who right now have their own future in their hands. Their 7-0 start means that they don’t need any help from anyone to win their division or make the Playoff.
