Georgia Football keeps on winning despite being on a bye
Justin Fields looks AMAZING
While Fields season ended on Thursday, his play beforehand was incredible. Fields broke the index finger on his throwing hand after a hit just before the 3rd quarter ended. It was an unfortunate play for Fields. It seemed to happen when the player who was tackling Fields put his helmet into Fields hand and it got caught between the helmet and the ball.
But before he hit, good lord did he look good. He rolled for 392 total yards of offence in 3 quarters. He also threw a hail mary to end the first half that was Aaron Rogers-like. Check this out:
Holy **** is right. There are times when Fields runs where he looks just like Cam Newton which is one thing. But his passing is so much better than people give him credit for. That’s why he is the no.1 player in the nation. The guy was the best QB at the Elite 11 event this past season, beating out every other QB in his class. He runs more than he passes in high school, but just wait until Jim Chaney gets his hands on him. He’s pretty much the perfect lump of clay for a coaching staff to develop.
According to Jeff Sentell of Dawgnation.com, the break ends Fields’ season. It’s going to be a 12-week recovery so it will be interesting to see if this affects his decision to enrol early of play Baseball next spring. Below are the full highlights from Fields for the night. Check them out if you missed the game, this guy is going to be special.
