As Dawg fans, it’s hard not to enjoy Tennessee’s misery. After the last 3 weeks, you almost want to feel sorry for them. Not only were they blown out by Georgia and Alabama, they barely even put up a fight against South Carolina. Watching the game this weekend, there were so many ‘Butch Jones moments’ the whole game turned into so form of farce.

They called a flea flicker but no receivers ran routes. Jones praised his team despite the fact they were down 21-0 at the half. After their defence scored their only points, their best player gave the Bama fans two middle fingers. The whole game was basically like watching a train slowly crash with Butch on the sideline screaming ‘Champions of everything!!!’. Throw in the damn towel administration, your fans have had enough:

While the Vols season has clearly ended, UGA also had some good news in the form of Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish destroyed USC 49-14 yesterday. Brandon Wimbush looked special and the whole game made the Dawgs victory back in week 2 look even better. There is a good chance that by the end of the season, that could be the most impressive win for the Dawgs.

Georgia’s other playoff contenders also held serve this week. Penn State looked good beating Michigan although that was their first game playing even a semi-decent side. Wisconsin remains undefeated but they have literally played nobody. TCU, Miami and round out the list of undefeated teams right now alongside UGA.
