Dawgs are getting healthy again

UGA also had some good news in terms of injuries this week. Terry Godwin returned to training straight away on Tuesday which ends some concerns fans had. He looks like he was in serious pain and there was a fear that he had broken ribs after a nasty hit in the Mizzou game

His return is great news and it gives Georgia a full load of weapons for the Florida game. UGA should also have Trenton Thompson and Reggie Carter back next week. UGA lacked a bit of depth this past week in its defensive front 7 so those guys returning will be big. Thompson remains UGA’s best defensive linemen. If he’s back to his best, he could make a huge impact this coming weekend.

David Marshall and DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle did not return this past week so that will be something to keep an eye on as UGA prep. Their return will give Georgia a nearly full strength defence. Starting ILB Natrez Patrick will remain suspended until the Auburn game.

Based on how Georgia has played this year, particularly on defence, that’s a scary proposition for Florida. UGA probably has the best defence they will have seen all year. Jim McElwain has better have a good game plan of his offence could end up getting stuffed like Tennessee.
