Most of UGA’s top targets have a set timetable:

Not much Georgia can do about this one. You see, at this point, most of the guys UGA are going after have clear timetables. The Dawgs are aiming to bring in a lot of very highly ranked players to finish off their 2018 class right now. What makes this class different to many, is that UGA will likely add a lot to the top part of its class later on as the cycle finishes.

That’s because most of their key targets are deciding when the season is over. Jamaree Salyer is making his decision in December. Trey Hill, another big-time OG is also going to decide then. James Cook and KJ Henry have also announced that they will not commit until the season has ended. The same can also be said of Tyson Campbell, a 5 star rated cornerback who UGA is really pushing for right now.

That’s 5 of the top 35 players in the country right there. Georgia is pushing to sign all of them and is the favourite for at least 2. UGA probably has about 7, maybe 8 more spots in the 2018 class. With so many great players holding off, Georgia and its fans are going to have to wait just a bit. That doesn’t mean nothing is going to happen before December. There are a couple of other wrinkles out there for fans to keep an eye on.
