2019 kids are more likely to pull the trigger right now:

With UGA possibly stuck in ‘wait for the bullrush’ mode in 2018, fans might need to look out for the class down the road. The UGA 2019 class could end up as no.1 in the entire nation if things play out right. The state of Georgia is loaded with talent that year and UGA is playing really well at just the right time.

Right now, the Dawgs already have three 5-star commitments from that class. Nolan Smith, Jadon Haselwood and Dominick Blaylock are all potential future stars. But there are more stars out there and several look like they could pop soon.

Owen Pappoe is someone that a lot of people know about. He’s a top-level talent who wants to have his recruiting done by his senior year. UGA is trending with him, especially because of our play this year and the fact that he again, could be exceptional in the Roquan Smith role in Athens.

I don’t know if he’ll commit quite yet though and so there are a few other names to look out for. Travon Walker is a DT who to me looks special and Georgia has made him a priority for some time. Kevin Harris is another big time Athlete from Grayson who could join the Dawgs.

All in all, I don’t know exactly who would be the next guy to join the 2019 class. Right now, there are 6 guys in that group but I would expect closer to 10 by the end of the year. There is a strong leadership presence in there as well with Smith and Haselwood. If you have a chance to check out some film on these juniors, do. There are some truly exciting prospects that should be Dawgs one day.
