Georgia pulls off another ‘flip’:

The fact that Georgia was able to pull this commitment off says a lot about their staff. Cook was committed to Florida State until this summer. He’s from Florida and his brother built a fantastic career at that school. Dalvin is now in the NFL because of what he did in Tallahassee.

Those factors were not enough to prevent Georgia from getting their guy. They were working on him behind the scenes while he was committed. This interest became much more open after he walked away from FSU and the Dawgs soon became the favourites to win his signature.

If this story sounds familiar, it’s because it should do. Justin Fields was very similar. He also committed to another school but eventually decided to rethink his options before deciding on Georgia.

The fact is that this staff is delivering both on and off the field. With Georgia playing so well and loaded with talented recruiters off the field, there really isn’t much that’s off limits right now.
