The running game is getting better:

To be honest, this is kind of hard to believe. This Florida defence is the best unit that Georgia has played all year. That didn’t seem to effect UGA on the ground at all. Nick Chubb looked like a man against boys several times. He actually ran over defensive linemen and linebackers several times. When he got to the secondary, he made people miss. He looks fully back to his best.

As good as Nick Chubb was, Sony Michel was even better. He only touched the ball 6 times all game, but that was all he needed. He ran for 137 yards and two gut-punch touchdowns. His first was a 74-yard run that left the Gators down 21 points before they had even moved the ball. His second was a 45-yard burst that put the nail in the coffin in the 3rd.

Elijah Holyfield continued to impress with his second touchdown of the year. He continues to excel as UGA’s closer and keeps pushing for more playing time. D’Andre Swift did little on the ground, but his 3 catches went for 84 yards and he basically was the Dawgs passing game this week.

As good as the backs were, the offensive line deserves another big pat on the back. They opened up some huge holes against a really good Florida front. They look so much better than what we saw last year, it’s almost crazy. Stopping this running game if they keep playing like this will not be easy.
