Worst case scenario: 16-15 overall, 9-10 in the SEC

The scenario where everything goes wrong. An early season loss to Texas A&M Corpus Christi sets the pace for the season. The Bulldogs don’t perform well in the Wooden Legacy tournament and follow that disappointment with losses to Winthrop and Marquette.

SEC play isn’t much more friendly and starting with Kentucky doesn’t help. Florida and South Carolina sweep the Bulldogs again. Arkansas and road trips to Mississippi State and Vanderbilt are also tough on the Bulldogs.

Georgia does find ways to win enough to finish the regular season above .500. But without a great SEC Tournament, Georgia fails to make the NIT.And just like that, Fox is out and Georgia is looking for a new head coach.

How will Georgia follow this scenario?

Just like that season, Yante Maten and Derek Ogbeide are the only consistent players. Juwan Parker, Mike Edwards and other veterans can’t provide enough points to keep Georgia in games. The freshmen also struggle to adapt to the college game.
