Georgia Football continued its good season with a win over South Carolina this weekend. Here are our top takeaways from the game.

With another win under their belt, the Georgia Football team moved to 9-0. South Carolina deserve credit for standing up to the Bulldogs this week. The Gamecocks were the first SEC team this season to put together a decent performance against the Dawgs. For the first time all season, Dawg fans took to Twitter complaining that their team was not up by more.

To be honest, though, UGA looked in control. They did not put a beatdown on their opponent but they never seemed worried. While their defense had a bit of an off day, they still only conceded 10 points. Yes, they only put 24 points up on the board, but they once again put up more than 400 yards of offense. This time they were balanced as Jake Fromm proved a lot of his doubters wrong with a strong day through the air.

Yes, this wasn’t the same dominant performance we have seen the past few weeks, but Georgia still looked good. They played like a top 3 team in the nation who was up against a division rival. That rival really wanted to upset the Dawgs and deserve credit for playing a good game. South Carolina is probably the 2nd best team in the East this season.

So let’s dive into our takeaways, shall we! We’ll start with the defense which had some uncharacteristic moments against one of the better QBs in the SEC.
