There were plenty of recruits at the Georgia Football game this past weekend. We take a quick look at who was in Athens to see the Dawgs clinch the East.

Well, it’s that time of the week again. With Georgia playing at home last week, it was another opportunity for the Dawgs to bring recruits to Athens. As per usual, Georgia had a lot of top recruits in town this week. One thing that has become consistent is that a lot of UGA commits continue to show up.

UGA has an advantage in this regard because a lot of their commits are from Georgia. It’s not that hard for players like Justin Fields and Chris Smith to come to Athens for a game. They aren’t coming from far. That being said, it still makes a big difference. We’ll go into why quite a bit over the next few slides. Georgia probably uses it’s commits to recruit others as well as any school in the nation.

With only one home game left after this, it’s perhaps no surprise to see so many big names in town. The fact that Georgia is winning games is certainly helping. Who wouldn’t want to go and see the No.1 team in the nation at home? It’s making it easier to bring in guys from further afield than you might think. This was by no mean just a collection of guys from Georgia this week.

So let’s dive into the biggest recruits on campus this weekend. We’ll start with the guys who are more often than not, the most important guys in a class. The big uglies!
