Georgia Football had a tough Saturday night. They were beaten in Auburn so here are 5 takeaways from the Bulldogs first loss.

It was a tough Saturday afternoon for the Georgia Football team. After dominating almost all of their opponents for the first 9 weeks, they fell back to earth this weekend. They were soundly defeated in Auburn by a team that played certainly their best game of the season.

This is not a weak Auburn side. They have lost an inexplicable game to LSU, but they are a very good side. The home field advantage and an uncharacteristically bad UGA performance led to a 40-17 defeat for the Bulldogs.

Before delving into what led to the Dawgs losing, I first want to quickly say something. Yes, this was a bad game for the UGA but Dawg fans should stick with their team. We’ve become accustomed to big wins this season but sometimes, you lose. This one game will not define UGA’s season and it shouldn’t do. They still have plenty more in front of them.

But we’ll look forward later. Let’s start by looking back at what went wrong for the Dawgs.
