Two Tennessee prospects on UGA’s radar:

The fallout of what is happening in Knoxville will have effects in Athens as well. With the Vols stumbling to get rid of Butch Jones and unable to make a decisive decision, their 2018 class is starting to fall apart.

It all starts with their top overall prospects, 5-star offensive lineman Cade Mays. Mays is a Tennessee legacy, but he has decided to look around thanks to the chaos with the Vols. He spent a recent weekend in Athens in a visit that many think went very well.

Alontae Taylor is another top prospect that UGA seems to be trending with. Taylor is a super athlete who could end up playing receiver or cornerback on Saturdays. He has always been seen as a receiver but Georgia is already pretty set at that position right now. Which is why should he come to UGA, he would be more likely to end up on defense.

There are other prospects that remain committed to the Vols that are on Georgia’s radar. Jaycee Horn and Trey Dean are two DB’s from Georgia that UGA had interest in before their commitments. Kirby Smart could target one if some of his other CB targets do not come off.
