Georgia Football landed a BIG defensive line prospect out of North Carolina in Jordan Davis tonight.

Well, that was quick. No sooner had Georgia Football seen it’s 2018 class drop to 17 recruits, then it’s back to 18. Caleb Tannor’s spot seems to have been filled by another defensive player. This one is particularly large.

Jordan Davis has the kind of size that defensive coaches dream of. He already stands at 6-6 tall and over 325lbs. He’s still a senior in high school. That is a very large human being. Defensive line coach Tray Scott was actually the first to offer Davis back when he was at North Carolina. He brought his guy to Athens for the South Carolina game and secured his commitment tonight.

Davis’ note was very well written, which sums up the kind of kid that he is. Dawg fans should be excited to see the way he continues to put his teammates first. That’s the kind of attitude that Kirby wants to see. The physical tools are off the chart with Davis. He’s even bigger than someone like Trenton Thompson and could be a real force in the middle. This is exactly the kind of player Smart and Mell Tucker want to load up on.

When Davis committed, he received plenty of congratulations from UGA’s current class. Speaking of which…
