2. Show up Saturday.

This will be the final home game for some all-time great Georgia Bulldogs. Nick Chubb, Sony Michel,  Davin Bellamy, and Lorenzo Carter are just a few of the Dawgs who will be playing their final game between the hedges. There should be no reason a 3:30 game in Athens featuring the #7 team in the nation vs. a division opponent shouldn’t be absolutely packed out and rocking.

This is also a big weekend for recruiting. Saturday is the last home game Georgia will be playing this season. That means that it is one last shot for Kirby and his coaches to show prospects just what Athens is like. It’s also a chance for Dawg fans to show those players that we are always behind our team, even after a loss like last week.

No matter what you might think, these things matter in recruiting. We can’t do much as fans, but we can show prospects that we always have our teams back. We can pack out the stadium, make a tonne of noise and show everyone what Georgia is all about. After a week where national commentators have belittled Georgia and it’s fans, it’s our damn duty to go out there and show them that we don’t care. Athens is a special place on Saturdays no matter what ESPN might say.

Chubb and Michel didn’t have to come back, but they did because they expected to be a part of a special team. They were correct and us fans have been richly rewarded thanks to their efforts. Dawgnation should show up on Saturday and show these DGD’s how much we love them one last time.
