2014 vs. Auburn.

This was another game where Chubb looked superhuman as a freshman. Todd Gurley was returning from a four-game suspension in which Chubb took over lead back duties and excelled. Gurley was so good himself that some wondered if Chubb would be as dominant having to split carries with him against a stout SEC defense like Auburn’s.

Nick answered that question to the tune of 144 yards and 2 touchdowns including this Sports Center highlight run below.

It was a run that showcased Chubb’s most impressive weapon in his assorted arsenal; his ability to break tackles. It seemed like there were times when he just decided in his mind before the run that he would not be tackled.
