Georgia continues to dominate on the ground:

A lot of Georgia fans have been wanting UGA to air the ball out more this year. That was especially true after the Auburn game. That was the only game this year where Georgia struggled to run. This was another game, where UGA had their way on the ground.

As a team, they ran for 247 yards. They were able to control the clock and keep the ball out of Georgia Tech’s hands. They also scored when they made their gains. Georgia has done a great job this year of converting drives into points. That continued again on Saturday with 3 more TD’s on the ground.

Nick Chubb and Sony Michel got their revenge against tech. They didn’t want to go out with a losing record to that enemy. Both got on the scoreboard and looked really impressive again. D’Andre Swift had another big-time run, this time of 31 yards on a third down. He got on the TD party with a dive into the endzone one play later.

UGA continues to do its best work on the ground. While it might need to pass a bit more next week, it is going to have to be able to run to win the SEC. These running backs need to be given the chance to win the game.
