Kirby Smart Revenge tour continues:

And so it continues. With Auburn defeating Alabama yesterday, UGA will have a shot to avenge their week 11 loss. With another big victory this weekend, Georgia have comfortably beaten every single team they have taken on this year except Auburn.

The concept of a ‘Kirby Smar Revenge Tour’ was coined by former Florida coach Jim McElwain. Georgia has crushed every team that inflicted a defeat upon them in 2016 so far. They haven’t just beaten them, they have blown all of them out.

Now UGA goes into the SEC championship game looking for more revenge. Auburn humiliated the Dawgs less than 3 weeks ago. While the Tigers looked very good playing the Dawgs and Alabama this week, it shouldn’t b forgotten that they were playing at home. The environment will be very different in Atlanta where there is a very good chance that Georgia fans will make up more than 50% of the crowd.

We’ll obviously dive into this matchup a lot more in the coming week. But in the short term, the big takeaway is the Dawgs have a chance to get some revenge. While I’m sure this team would be up for either team, there is no doubt that Auburn will motivate our players just a little bit more.

Next: A clean old fashioned butt-kicking

Despite what the pundits seem to say, UGA has a great chance against Auburn next week. Lets see if the Kirby revenge tour has one more stop this season.
