When the Georgia Football team takes on Auburn this Saturday, they are going to have to do a few things differently to win the SEC Championship Game.

Well, here we are Dawg fans. Less than 4 days to go until the biggest game of quite some time for the Georgia Football team. The Bulldogs take on the Auburn Tigers in Atlanta on Saturday and what a game it should be.

The Tigers handed the Dawgs their only loss of the season just 3 short weeks ago. It was a blowout 40-17 victory for the team from Alabama. Experts across the sports world have pretty much written off the Dawgs this weekend. There seems to be a consensus among most commentators that Georgia doesn’t stand a chance in this game. That Auburn will simply turn up and repeat what happened in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Well let’s just slow down here, shall we? It seems to me that a lot of people saw a very different game that week than I did. Yes Auburn were brilliant and Georgia was bad, but I can’t believe that those same teams will show up on Saturday. This Auburn team has been fantastic at home, but they have struggled some on the road. Hence their loss to LSU earlier this year.

Georgia has also been much better than they were in that one game. Other than that result, the Dawgs have blown past almost every other team that they have faced. But winning this game is going to be an uphill battle for Georgia. To do so, they are going to have to play better on both sides of the ball.

Let’s start with UGA’s strength this season, their defence. What does Mel Tucker’s unit need to do this week to give Dawg fans the revenge they crave?
