OLBs need to play with disciple:

Speaking of Johnson, Georgia are going to have to find a way to stop him. While he might not be at 100% thanks to an injury Johnson is going to play. UGA is going to have to find a way to stop him and that’s going to have to happen at different levels of the defence.

While the defensive line clogs up lanes, Davin Bellamy and Lorenzo Carter are going to be crucial this game. Both of them are going to have to play with great discipline this game. Georgia cannot afford blown assignments that could lead to gaps which Johnson can exploit.

The same could be said of D’Andre Walker. Walker has become UGA’s best pure pass rusher this season, but his reckless abandon in the run game can lead to trouble. He played much better against Georgia Tech this past week. Discipline is absolutely key against the triple option and Walker did a great job holding the edge and clearing traffic.

Georgia is going to need to pressure Jarrett Stidham when he drops back to pass. Some of that can come from inside, but UGA’s defence has been at its best this year when it’s OLB’s have beaten the offensive tackles. That’s what Carter and Bellamy did against Notre Dame and we need to see that again this weekend.
