It comes down to whether UGA can get Auburn out of THEIR comfort zone:

In summary, we need to do to Auburn what they did to us. This is a run first team. While Stidham has impressed, his stats are pretty similar to Jake Fromm. That makes sense because this team is set up in a similar fashion. They want to run the ball first and control the line of scrimmage.

Auburn was able to do just that in the last game. Our defensive unit had their worst game of the season 3 weeks ago. They were physically beaten at the line of scrimmage. They missed key tackles and simply did not cover as well as they can. Mel Tucker and Kirby Smart will need this unit to play up to it’s potential this week.

With the exception of week 11, this unit has beaten up opponents. It has pushed them out of their comfort zone and forced them into tough positions. That’s something that the defence desperately needs to do again this week. We saw against Clemson just how much Auburn struggle is you control the line of scrimmage. UGA has the talent to do that, they just need to deliver.

Next: Why UGA can win this game!

UGA lost the first game because they were bullied by Auburn. We saw that Georgia, like most teams, struggle when you take them out of their comfort zone. This Saturday, the Dawgs defence needs to do the same thing to Auburn’s offence. It’s pretty hard for any team to win when they are out of their comfort zone. It will fall to UGA’s defence to make that happen.
