RB’s are going to need to make some special plays:

While we are going to need our offensive line to do a much better job at moving their D-line, UGA’s running game will need more than that this weekend. There is only so much that an offensive line can do against players like they will face this week. The holes the open are going to be small and they won’t be open for long.

To be successful, UGA is going to need its backs to be at their best. They are going to need to make decisive decisions and hit holes very quickly. Sony Michel and Nick Chubb have done this a lot this season and will need to do so again.

We’re also going to need to see these guys make players miss. To open up the offensive gameplan, UGA is going to have to make splash plays. That means making tacklers miss and bringing in big chunks of yardage. That’s less about the line opening holes and more the backs doing work once they are past the line.

We know that our backs can do this. Chubb and Michel have shown time and again that they can excel at that. So can D’Andre Swift who has had multiple big plays that have changed games this season. If UGA can establish the run, this is going to be a very different game.
