Senior Class steps up and has their big moment:

Nick Chubb, Lorenzo Carter, Sony Michel, Davin Bellamy… These guys came back for this game. All four of those players would have been drafted is they choose to go pro last year. Instead, they did something we rarely see in this day and age. They came back to play for their senior year and boy did they dominate this game.

Sony Michel ended up injuring his knee, but Nick Chubb had a fantastic game. He ended up 2nd in rushing yards in the SEC behind only Hershal Walker meaning that UGA now sits 1 and 2 on that list. Chubb ran angry for most of the game and looked absolutely back to his best. He carried defenders for extra yardage and made them miss several times.

Carter and Bellamy both had great games. Bellamy responded to a bad performance against Auburn 3 weeks ago with the crucial fumble in the second quarter. That turnover completely changes the game and UGA never looked back.

Carter was fantastic as well. He shut down Kerryon Johnson several times and was all over the field. He showed what a versatile weapon he can be on the defensive side of the ball. All of these guys had great moments in the biggest game of their careers. It couldn’t have happened to better Dawgs.
