We’ll remember this team for a very long time:

The season isn’t over! No, thanks to this victory, the Dawgs will be going to Pasadena California and taking on the Oklahoma Sooners in the CFP semifinal. That is going to be one of the most exciting games Dawg fans have been waiting for in a long time.

Before we get there, of course, we have 4 weeks off and Christmas. That is going to give all of us plenty of time to reflect on this season and the players who made this victory possible. Perhaps the biggest takeaway for me from this game was that I will always remember this 2017 Bulldog team.

This group of players came in with a chip on their shoulder. Almost nobody talked about them all season and all they did was beat down almost every opponent they faced. They came together as a unit and gave this fanbase so many great memories. How many games this year will we be telling our kids about one day? I can think of 5 off the top of my head, that’s how special this season was.

You always cheer for your guys, but there is something unique about this year. The seniors who came back, the freshman who arrived. The revenge games that were won and the wrongs that were made right. There are just so many individuals who you can take pride in being Bulldogs in this group.

Next: Its Bulldogs vs Sooners!

These 2017 Georgia Bulldogs have given us memories that are going to last forever. They’re not done quite yet either. Dawg fans will be hard-pressed to remember a December that feels this good. Let’s see if January can be even better.
