Big time commitments signing early:

I’ll start off by saying that this will be exciting. Georgia has had so many top talents committed to them that sometimes we forget, they haven’t signed quite yet. That should change on Wednesday, when most of UGA’s top SEC ranked class sign their paperwork.

It all starts with QB Justin Fields. One of the nations top 2 players, Fields will sign with Georgia at noon. That will finally end all of this crazy Florida/FSU speculation among their fanbases. Sorry about that gators. Maybe you should have focused on the QB you already had committed rather than trying to steal ours? There remains the chance that he will enroll early as well in January. That all depends on whether he wants to play baseball.

RB’s James Cook and Zamir White will also sign on Wednesday. As will guard Trey Hill and wide receiver Kearis Jackson. White. Jackson and Hill will all enroll in January alongside Warren Ericson and Devonte Wyatt.

Almost all of UGA’s current commits are expected to sign. The few who aren’t are fringe players, some of whom might not make the class when its all said and done. UGA should have 24 scholarships available for players this year. Expect as many as 18 of them to be gone by Friday.
